Who we are
Layerum Research is an independent research and development organization building software, data systems, AI technologies, and experimental tools.
Layerum started as a product. It became a lab when we realised the most interesting problems sat underneath it — in how knowledge is structured, who is allowed to see it, and how machines should reason over it.
Being independent means our roadmap follows the problem, not a funding cycle. We ship real systems, keep them honest, and grow the lab through people and organizations who share that view.

We read the system before we touch it, and never guess how it works.

Errors are surfaced, not hidden. A loud failure is a useful result.

Access, secrets and data boundaries are designed in from the first line.
